What Ingredients Are Used?
The ingredients I use to make this dish include:
Plain Yogurt: Start with a creamy base, providing a velvety canvas for the medley of flavors.
Mint: Introduce a burst of freshness, as this vibrant herb takes the lead with invigorating herbal notes.
Lemon Juice: Acidic and citrusy, lemon juice offers health benefits such as immune support, improved digestion, and skin health due to its high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants.

Garlic: Join the ensemble with aromatic richness, weaving in layers of savory complexity to the dish.
Salt: Sprinkle in a pinch for the perfect balance, subtly enhancing and tying together the array of flavors.
Cucumber: Enter crisp cucumber, bringing a refreshing crunch to the mix and completing the ensemble with its cool and hydrating character.
Together, these carefully selected ingredients orchestrate a delightful symphony of taste in our Mediterranean Cucumber Yogurt with Mint recipe.
How Do You Make Cucumber Yogurt?
This is such a quick and easy dish to make. You won’t believe how quickly you can mix a batch up. It’s an easy go to staple as the ingredients are always in my kitchen on any given day.

Begin by combining plain yogurt in a bowl, creating a creamy base for your dish. Introduce fresh mint, allowing its invigorating herbal notes to mingle with the yogurt. Add garlic to the mix, letting its aromatic richness enhance the overall flavor profile. Sprinkle in salt to achieve the perfect balance, adjusting to your taste preferences. Finally, incorporate crisp cucumber, providing a refreshing crunch and completing the ensemble.

Blend all ingredients together until the harmony of flavors is achieved, creating your Mediterranean-inspired Cucumber Yogurt with Mint. Adjust ingredients to your liking. Enjoy the refreshing symphony!

What Pairs Well With Cucumber Yogurt?
Yogurt Chicken – This is by far my favorite dish to pair this with! I love to dip my chicken in it. There are so many delicious flavors and this one is truly a match made in heaven.
Lebanese Rice – A common traditional way to eat this yogurt is mixed with Lebanese Rice. When I make the cucumber yogurt for this purpose, I like to dice the cucumber extremely small as well as use half as much cucumber as the recipe calls for. This makes it more “soupy” and delicious!
Chickpea Salad – Light and bright doesn’t even start to cover it. This salad is so fresh and delicious. It will be the talk or every gathering it attends. I know from personal experience. It is the perfect pairing.

Tips:
When you make this dish, if you have used a small portion of the yogurt already, I like to just add the other ingredients to the big yogurt container, mix it up, and it’s ready to go back into the fridge when you’re done mixing or after dishing some to eat.
Anything that saves me from an extra and unnecessary dish to wash, I’m all about it!
